Arabic and English websites for Dubai businesses
Your customers in Dubai search in two languages. A bilingual site that treats Arabic as a flipped copy of the English one shows it straight away: broken layouts, arrows pointing the wrong way, Arabic text in a font that was never meant for it. I build Arabic and English websites where both languages are first-class, from the layout to the search results.
What properly bilingual means
- True right-to-left layout. Arabic pages are laid out right to left at the template level. Navigation, columns, forms, numbers and any icon that implies a direction all read correctly, because the components are built to work in both directions rather than mirrored after the fact.
- Arabic typography. Arabic gets its own typeface, chosen to sit well beside your English one, with sizes and line spacing tuned for Arabic script, which needs more room than Latin letters.
- Copy written for each language. The Arabic is written for Arabic readers, not pushed through machine translation, and you review both languages before anything goes live. I work in both.
- SEO in both languages. Each language has its own addresses, page titles and descriptions, plus hreflang tags that tell Google which version to show which searcher. Arabic searchers land on the Arabic page and English searchers on the English one.
- A language switch that keeps your place. Switching language on the menu page opens the menu page in the other language, not the homepage.
- Contact in the visitor's language. Forms, buttons and pre-written WhatsApp messages follow the language the visitor chose.
See it working
The café concept build on my demos page is a full English and Arabic site with a right-to-left Arabic version, hreflang tags and a language switch that keeps your place. Open it on your phone and switch languages on any page.
Who it's for
Any Dubai business whose customers include Arabic speakers who would rather read in Arabic: clinics, restaurants and cafés, property services, education and training, and anyone selling to families or to other UAE businesses. If your customers message you in Arabic, your website should answer them in Arabic too.
What it costs, and how long it takes
Bilingual Arabic and English landing pages start from AED 7,000, and multi-page bilingual websites from AED 12,000. Most usually take 2 to 5 weeks. Every site is quoted at a fixed price, page by page, once the scope is clear; see all services and prices. If budget or timing means launching in English first, I build the site ready for Arabic, so adding it later is a content job rather than a rebuild.
